Well last night was the Gov't Mule concert here in Minnesota. Loved it, had a really good time and those guys are definitely talented musicians and looked like they were enjoying themselves. They kicked it off with a couple Johnny Winter tunes as a tribute. I didn't know more than a few songs so that was a different feeling than most concerts I go to.

But thanks to those who recommended these guys as the concert I should see. I'd go see them again. The wife enjoyed it too, good people watching.

Here's the setlist from last night:

Set 1:
Good Morning Little Schoolgirl (for Johnny Winter)
Be Careful With a Fool (Johnny Winter cover) (for Johnny Winter)
Time to Confess
Painted Silver Light
Devil Likes It Slow
Whisper In Your Soul
Captured
The Shape I'm In (The Band cover)
Blind Man in the Dark

Set 2:
Scared to Live
No Reward
Birth of the Mule
Drums
Unring the Bell (with Get Up, Stand Up & Eleanor Rigby Teases)
Endless Parade
Brand New Angel
Soulshine (Larry McCray cover)

Encore:
Goin' Out West (Tom Waits cover) (with Peter Gunn Tease)

Mike
