What disappoints me is that the band STILL continue to ignore their early period, which for me, and many others, is a very important, and f*cking fantastic, era of the band.
The biggest 'surprise' of the night was that they played 'Kingdom of Madness' as last song of main set rather than an encore. Couldn't they give that song a rest and replace it with All of My Life, or Great Adventure? (Along with If I Could Live Forever, Reborn etc, haha).
Thank God the new album is great, or I'd get really tired of going to Magnum shows just to hear the same old songs (no matter how GREAT those songs are).
If the band REALLY want to surprise us, how about doing a set that REALLY mixes it up?!!!!
