I think their album sales would continue to decline as they had from IV onward. That all had nothing to do with the band or the quality of music they were putting out. It was just a bad time who were prominent only a few years before.

I do think that Joseph would've been great on Kingdom of Desire. It's hard to determine if they would've gone for that kind of hard rock sound if things didn't play as they did. On a song like "Don't Chain My Heart" he would've been perfect.
