I used to work in a hotel in Brighton which many of the bands at the Centre and the Dome used. The vast majority were really nice (Kiss, Bon Jovi, Whitesnake, Tina Turner, Nils Lofgren {even Gary Glitter} to name but a few), but the single most onboxious bunch were Big Country. At the time I loved their music and was going to see them that night, but their attitude really soured things for me.

Even now I struggle to listen to their stuff 30 years later.......
