Yeah, good weekend. Far better choice of venue than last year's Rotherham site.

Highlights for me were:

UFO (Mogg in fabulous form!),
Dynazty (powerful and energetic)
Robin Beck
Love/Hate (surprisingly - probably got the best reaction of anyone throughout the weekend)
PC69
Cold Spell
House Of Lords
Tyketto (but Chris Green's guitar was too quiet in the mix, and I thought they were better at The Garage a few days before)
Bad Touch (last minutes replacements for Chasing Violets - good old school bluesy-rock)
Red's Cool from - I think - Russia gave a good account of themselves, too.

Graham Bonnett wasn't good. Perhaps he was having vocal issues, but it was painful at times - although his band were excellent.

Given the choice, I far prefer Firefest, but if there are to be no more FFs for the foreseeable future, at least we have an alternative.
