Sorry Terry I cant agree. On this particular DVD, Bobby Kimball sounded better than he ever did any time I saw the band live.which begs the obvious question ??!! What you wouldn't have seen in the footage were the solos. In particular Greg Phillinganes keyboard solo, which has got to be the poorest Ive heard.
Do you know something though, Im not in the slightest bothered if they use autotune live or on dvd. Id rather bands continued touring, warts and all, than decide they shouldn't go out live at all. Yes all credit to Bobby for continuing into his sixties, but listening to his voice latterly was painful.
To add a bit of balance however, if pushed into naming the best show I saw the band perform, it was at the Royal Albert Hall in London approx. 10 years ago. The band and Bobby Kimball were on fire.
