I DIDN'T say that their roots didn't include keyboards at all. Back in the debut and on "Get Lucky" of course there were keyboards, but it was well balanced with Dean's growly guitar player. On later albums, the keys stepped way up to the forefront. I mean really, if you listen to something "Hot Girls in Love" compared to "Turn Me Loose" there's a big difference.
