Couldn't agree more! I am sick if these farewells. At least Judas Priest corrected themselves and changed to we won't tour like we are 20 years old but will still perform. Sure Mick is the only member in real bad shape. Perhaps do what STYX does with Chuck Panazzo. Have someone do the bulk of the show and have Mick come out for a song or 2.

Also one of the reasons these farewells don't last is the live experience. While I love Sixx AM it will never fill an arena. Once that large crowd is in there blood it's hard to do a show for 50-100 people....thus they return for the vibe and the money.

Right idea def.....do a new record every 3-4 years, do a tour then do something else in between
