Again the question is answered friend. If illegal downloading and streaming services leads people not to buy the product then at least some money is going to the artists/labels through legal stream services. The labels are backing this and yes they make the bulk of the money...nothing new there. But a legal stream service offers artist at least a legal way of getting something for there music. I think while artists don't like the payoff if you asked a direct question of the 2 choices they would choose the stream over outright stealing. To think in this day and age making any living off an album is a thing of the past sadly. So if the only way I can listen to new music without stealing it is a legal stream service then its all good. For me at there is no excuse to outright steal it. But that's a personal choice I make. If an artist doesn't like streaming and if they have the power not to put it out on streaming services then they do...ala Tom Keifer.
