The era when a "live" record really meant something. You saw the gigs, captured the vibe and the power and wished you could re-live it, and/or hear that vibe in the studio records (which never had the ooomph). These days with modern tech, the web, YT etc..they mean nothing, or at least do not have the impact. The 78/79 period for live records was awesome, and its what many of the bands of the time didn't realise, was that those records would become their benchmark.

For me..the best live records of the era were LIZZY Live And Dangerous and UFO Strangers..unbeatable.
