An empty coach seat is about as poignant as it gets Jim.

First I heard of the tragedy was 2am when I finally found my coach. I was told that two had died but hadn't been identified so it was a long 4 hours to when my brother and his mate finally found the coach at 6am. They'd had to be dragged out at the front during Megadeth and spent most of the day in first aid.

It could have been even worse. I remember the crowd surges during David Lee Roth's set and being swept over a pile of people who had slipped and were being trampled and then being swept back over them in the opposite direction - totally unable to stop and help. Security tried to stop the show & climbed the front of the stage only to be jumped on by two of Dave's guys from the wings who were unaware of what was going on in the crowd.

Thank goodness lessons were learned but it's a terrible shame that it came at such a cost.
