I have a box set of classical CD's of all the great composers as well as a mixed jazz collection too. Other than that:

Girls Aloud - Tangled Up = Manufactured pop.
Midlake - The Courage Of Others = Shoe gazing folk
Sacred Mother Tongue - The Ruin Of Man = heavy as hell with - be warned - growling vocals.
Steven Wilson - The Raven That Refused To Sing = Superb Prog.


All kind of diverse and I actually wonder if anyone else alive has those 4 in their collection!!
