In a regular cd player or computer player there is just a slight difference in the older cds from the 70's.

I bought Boston/Boston on blu-spec II and compaired to the Scholtz remasters there really is no difference,But it still sounds great.

Journey/Infinity compaired to the gold disc did sound a little bit better on the high end.

I also bought Bryan adams (SHM)Cuts like a knife from cd japan that sounds so much better that the original A&M release, go figure.

I guess if you have a high end home system it worth the extra $.
