I've seen Journey in a live venue only once, during their Steve Augeri era. I have always held Neal Schon's melodic guitar-playing in high regard, so I was chuffed to bits, eager to see and hear him in a live setting. That was to be a pinnacle moment for me. However, I was gutted by his garbled mush of indecipherable notes which were soaked to bloody hell with four oceans full of reverb and delay. It was the very definition of AWFUL!!!
