I thought Coverdale was good value, a larger than life character with a chunky dose of exaggerated eccentricity who handled the abysmal interview well. He must have wondered why bother turning up for a paltry few minutes, when the idiots questioning him seemed more interested in his bloody hair than the current tour with Journey and Thunder. Oh, and his hearing too. Not to mention referring to Whitesnake as a heavy metal band at one point. Maybe he got that info off Wikipedia, the factual trove for the easily fooled.....
