Please correct me if I'm wrong... but Heaven & Earth 'Dig' might be Joe's first full length studio album. He mostly did live gigs with tribute/cover bands..Holy Diver (a Dio Tribute) is one of them. Of course he is also with Steve Priest's Sweet, but basically it's nothing different.
In early 90s in Japan there are some albums featuring LA session musicians covering Japanese popular songs, translated in English, with various lead vocalist. Joseph Williams was involved in some of them, for example, and so was Joe Retta. Here's one with Joe on 2 songs:

Btw, I noticed that keyboardist Arlan Schierbaum is missing on this release party gig. Edward Harris Roth was there instead.
