Dude--you owe it to yourself to check into some classic DP. Start with Machine Head (of which you likely have heard at least half of already-Highway Star,Smoke.. Lazy,Space Truckin') or even Who Do We Think We Are which may be the Mach II lineup's most commercial sounding album. The one with Tommy Bolin-Come Taste The Band,is a strong record. and of course there's Burn when Coverdale/Hughes joined. Any of those could jump start you. If you like,then try some others,surely. if not,then they just ain't your thang. T
