I like his No-Man work best, but yes, Porcupine Tree seemed to have run its course (not by The Incident, but by Fear of a Blank Planet to me). I haven't loved every track on his solo albums, but I really admire his ability to go in different directions. The new one is the best of the three, and I think it's been good for him to allow some more improvisation into the music. This is what he needs to be doing now.
