I was one of those Stryper fanatics back in the 80s, I had 1st row tickets at their peak (best seats for any concert), had all the EPs and colored discs, and still have my bible. Some where along the line, I lost interest, probably after Against the Law (which I loved), which is when I think they may have taken a long break. Well recently I started picking up their albums since Against the Law, startING with the latest, Second Coming. I think this album of remakes is great! Actually the new recordings are better than I ever remember the originals, which usually never happens, and hasnt up to this point for any band. I also am listening to Covering, and I am loving that as well. Particularly Oz Fox is killing it on the guitar, song after song. The solo on Highway Star is Awesome. I have Murder by Pride and Reborn waiting to be listened to as well, but really enjoying Covering and sEcond Coming to the point I can't move on to the others yet.

Looking back I guess I have always had a song running through my head, maybe I never had a choice. Every drop of blood, every bitter tear, every bead of sweat, I live for this!
