I like this discussion of cool "parental units". My father used to drive a bit of a sports auto. One time, I had to travel a distance with him and was pleased to discover that his travel collection included cassettes by Foreigner and The Scorpions. Likewise, he also had some Michael Bolton in there, but I was not expecting him to have a Hard Rock side such as The Scorps.
