OMG...one of THE biggest unsung heroes in the history of music!

I had the pleasure of knowing Tommy a little during my years in LA and i also did an interview with him not too long before he sadly passed away.

He is known in the studio world as the godfather of all session players and during the 60's and 70's he played on more albums, singles, movies, jingles etc than anyone else...from Beach Boys to Zappa to Sinatra to Elvis etc...the Godfather movies and most TV stuff you can imagine.

I asked him in the interview how many albums he had played on and in typical Tedesco humor (still serious!) he said "there is a book published about me from Mel Bay and they list about 15.000 (!) recordings...but i've mostly done movies haha

The Wrecking Crew was THE best gang of musicians ever...there is not a classic hit from the 50's and 60's they did not play on...and tons of huge stuff after that...the movie is amazing and made by Tommy's son Denny.

VERY cool movie...
