I was also at the Bingley show on Monday.

FM delivered on every level - great set list and crystal clear sound. As said above they look like they are really enjoying themselves.

For me Vega were more than a letdown. I'm a huge Vega fan - but the 6 song set failed to capture any audience interest. It started OK but the last 3 songs sounded out of tune to my uneducated ears!! A bad day at the office for them.

Serpentine made a fine effort at opening the night. Only 5 songs but Matt Black is a good front man and got some audience participation.

What did piss me off was Serpentine and Vega had finished and cleared the stage of equipment by 8.25pm yet it was 50 minutes after that before FM came out. Surely 30 minutes maximum is enough for a change-over and we could have had a couple of extra tracks from the support - although the way Vega were going - perhaps it was just as well!!
