I took my 18 year old son (OK dragged) to the Bingley show on Monday.
We were both blown away by FM who have to be one of the most under-rated bands ever. Steve's voice shows no real sign of wear and tear, the songs memorable and the band play great individually. I also think they genuinely seem to enjoy themselves as opposed to so many acts who are clearly doing it for the money. Enjoyed every minute of it.

I was really looking forward to Vega - I like both of their albums but have to admit to being slightly underwhelmed. A tad too cheesy for me - and didn't really get much of a response from the audience...and they have a drummer who can't keep time!

Serpentine were a bit of a surprise as we hadn't heard anything before. They actually did a pretty good job in the short time they had.

All in all a great evening out. I've always been a huge FM fan and Monday proved yet again that class cannot be manufactured.
