The chorus is Bobby singing lead and Paich underneath him doing a harmony! For frik sake, did you not see him singing it in that video? Could you not tell that it is the SAME VOICE as on the record.

He sings lead on the choruses and the adlibs! That is half of the song. Bobby sang lead on this part:

Just take a step back and think logically for a minute. Why would a band hire a man to do nothing but hold a microphone and sing if he was not the most accomplished singer in the band? Why would they waste their money if David can sing the parts that Bobby sang? David and Steve CANNOT do what Bobby does and that is why he was in the band...
