No probs but there are major Toto fans on this board mate, not least Mr McNeice. I certainly wouldnt claim to be the biggest fan but they are my favourite band closely run more recently by Nightwish.
I first saw them in 1992 in Manchester and I think it was the first live date they played after Jeff Porcaro died. It was a magical and very emotional evening. That night Steve Lukather did most of the lead vocals and they had 3 backing singers. Ive seen them 10 times in total. Probably my favourire gig was at The Royal Albert Hall in London with Bobby on lead vocals.
I always felt Bobby Kimball was an integral part of Toto but I preferred it when Steve Lukather and David Paich did lead vocals on the albums.
Had everything gone well and drugs not reared their ugly head, I think the line up with Joseph Williams could have put them back on top in the USA, as he just looked and sounded right for the band. All history now but the last two times I saw then with Bobby on lead vocals he really struggled and regardless of what has happened since I think bringing Joseph Williams back into the band was a good move. Im just dissapointed that they dont seem to be coming back to the UK any time soon.
Oh and Ive got a Toto tattoo on my upper arm. Lol !!!
