For me it doesn't really matter.

One of my favourite 'live' albums is Unleashed In The East. But may are overdubbed and corrected to death on the instruments

Live And Dangerous
Strangers In The Night
Captured

But when the vocals are done, everyone cries foul. Odd really.

For me it's the live interpretation of the songs that counts.
