Can't agree with that at all. KImball's distinct high tenor is what made the songs he sang lead on. Replace him on those tracks with Fergie or Williams and--sorry,it ain't the same great song. Williams always came across to me as sounding a bit like Mikey Jackson with that high wavering tone--and that's a bad thing for me. fRegie was good on Isolation,but I ALWAYS pictured how much better that cd would have sounded with Kimball. On the track they did w/ Bobby from that album on their live dvd a few years back, I recall how much more I dug the song with BK.
Now--for sake of debate... people cry about DDY being out of STyx. Remember please (CCM) that Tommy Shaw was a new member after FOUR albums. so your argument about 'new' members spoiling the band(s) they join doesn't exactly hold true,eh? T
