HELLO...

My MSG - Perfect Timing remastered edition arrived this morning. Same label as the WAYSTED remasters mention below. Good booklet, not as much memorabilia as the others, but all the original art, lyrics and Malcolm Dome essay with new interview snippets. Sadly, no bonus material, but I can't recall any b-side/non-album tracks. Can you?

The original CD from 87 is quiet, and Andy John's mix etc, does sound a little soupy. Again though, this remaster is excellent with a brighter sound, more clarity and again, (even if its not the case), it sounds in places a little re-mixed. I guess its just the fact that other layers are poppin out from in the audio spectrum. Excellent record..a forgotten classic in some ways. Commercial Schenker with his usual twists and turns. If you like the record its worth the £7 or whatever you can get if for on the usual web sites.
