Yeah, I do understand the history and association that a ton of fans have with Ozzy Sabbath.
My own real history with the band began with Heaven And Hell, so I'm firmly in the Dio camp. Retrospectively I have trawled through the early Sabbath albums, but nothing hits the spot.
The Heaven And Hell album 'The Devil You Know' was fantastic and, no matter how I try, I can't believe that Ozzy would make an album as good as that, or that it would have been as good had he been singing on it.
Early Sabbath are one of those old school bands [Deep Purple as well] that I like the odd track or two, but can't get into them fully.
