Re: Albums with lead vocals by other band members

I agree that Richie should sing more songs on Bon Jovi albums. Possibly all of them :-)
Joe Perry should be physically restrained from going within 100 metres of a microphone and I really wish Robby wouldn't sing any Goo Goo Dolls songs as he ain't great compared to John.
I suppose Keith Richards has the odd one or two, the most famous be Happy on Exile. And Pink Floyd in their prime used to have Waters and Gilmour handling vocal duties. One better than the other though. Also, rather topically, Bonamassa got the odd song or two when he was in BCC, to give our ears a rest from Glenn's screeching. Which was nice. Lynyrd Skynyrd's last two albums have some cool vocal duets between Johnny Van Zant and Rickey Medlocke too. Not to mention a co-vocal track betwixt Erik and Jeff on a certain new album.
Others that should have a go? Maybe Phil Collen should be allowed to sing a Def Leppard song or two? Of course, that would depend on them writing, recording and releasing new material. By which time all of us - and our grand kids - will be pushing up daisies. And Mark Tremonti has shown he's more than capable of stepping up to the mic for Alter bridge should Myles' higher register be shattering too many windows.
