I'm not sure I share that opinion, Laurent. Of course there are still believers, but I don't believe myself that those who do not have faith are now in the minority.
I was taught what God to believe in at school before I was old enough to have a mind of my own to question it. That isn't a 'faith', it's brainwashing.
On my Facebook profile I say that 'If it brings you comfort then who am I to argue?', regarding the subject of religion. I stand by that, but I find my comfort elsewhere. Catholicism doesn't preach peace and love, it's about guilt, shame and damnation. Repression, by any other name.
If those in attendance are enjoying it, then great. But why is it world news?
