Is it my imagination--or is this another one of those cds that have a very LOUD mastering job? sounds like you just couldn't crank this cd w/o it rattling your fillings and knocking vases off the furniture. AND distorting your system. Seems the norm for SO many releases anymore. Like you have a 'loudness' button pushes in on your oldschool stereo ('member those?). never liked that option as it just beefed everything WAY too much. i know that Pinnick's sound is def deep and gutteral, but why master him/any band this loud? Sheesh-otherwise a great record! T
