yes Steve is a really soulful singer and sings it so well, but instrumentally they batter the hell out of what is a pretty laid back song. Its too busy and doesn't breathe well for me.

Having heard the Slits murder "Grapevine" years ago, I can't listen to the song by anyone without hearing that dreadful voice scything through my head.

How about doing a fuller version of "Seagull" if they want to include a cover, Steve makes that his own

Really looking forwards to the new album, the "Tough Love" single is brilliant
