A big part of it simply comes down to the songwriting abilities,too. If these later Jovi cds really were all crap,their legions of fans would likely leave them as time went on. but they obviously keep the flame alive well enough with new material that keeps fans stoked about them. Remember--Jon is a songwriter to the core like his hero,Springsteen. Both have stayed relevant through the years. I don't care much for The Boss,but I can see where his fans have stayed with him all these long years. Similar with BJ,it seems. T
