Yep, that pretty much sums it up. As much as people (here) like to dump on them, they seem still hungry, even if just for monetary reasons, and they still want to prove themselves. Perhaps it's missing respect. Perhaps it's a Jersey thing. Or perhaps they still enjoy recording new music. Journey have been a nostalgia act for about twenty years now, although I really enjoy the post-Perry stuff as well. Still, they absolutely resisted to adjust and tweek their sound abit, perhaps that's why they don't matter anymore. Same goes for Def Leppard.
