I really enjoyed Eclipse on first play and still do.

Live, the visual balance is a bit off-putting these days, but I felt the opposite to what Jon Cain suggests, in that the band were forcing older songs on us during their last 4 UK visits, when I'm sure plenty would have loved to hear some songs off Arrival and Trial By Fire alongside some of the classics. The blues jam was tedium incarnate.

I really liked Revelation too but they were was panned for supposedly pandering older Journey sounds, so Eclispe rocked out big time after all the calls for Neal to do so - and they get panned again. Arnel sings his ass off on both albums.

I guess they'll have to re-record "Mother Father" featuring Fergie & Will.I.Am to get back up the charts. If Jonathan Cain thinks its not worth it, I'll be pretty cheesed off, but if that's their decision, it's their band.
