ECLIPSE is at times just plain flat, dull, and muddy in the sonics courtesy of you know who. It also desperately needed some serious editing in the structure of the songs, and trimming the self-indulgent guff Schon kept reeling out. It really was a Schon solo CD meets JRNY. Whilst some were praising it to the hilt as their greatest of works, and up there with absolute classics like ESCAPE, many of us could see this record was destined to fail and leave their core audience cold. 100%..my arse. A few good tracks, and a load of good tracks dying on their arse due to the production and structure.
