This was mentioned a few days back,but I just got a copy of that PGP cd- Doug Pinnick,Eric Gales,Thomas Pridgen. After 3-4 listens--this thing SMOKES!! Downright HEAVY blues infused rock and we all knew Pinnick is a monster on bass/vocals. But this drummer-Thomas Pridgen,really blows my mind. What a fab sticksman this cat is! And--what can be said about Eric Gales?! I've heard the name in passing over the years--guess I never even knew he's a black guy. But HOLY SH*T can this dude RIP it on guitar!! I can't believe he's not a household name in the rock world. He's got quite a few cds out too, I see. I heard most of his 'Relentless' cd from '10 over at y-tube,and it's great stuff. Fans of Pat Travers Band and any great hard blues rock would LOVE this stuff. Just ordered his solo cd--THat's What I Am from Amazon recommends. It's also fantastic stuff!! If there was any justice this guy would be world renowned--yup,he's THAT good! Check into his catalog and/or start with this PGP cd (like I did). THis kind of rock is the real deal,for sure! T
