I know about this. Basically, the guitar sound committed to tape from the live soundboard was f**king appalling (you can hear it on the intro to I'm A Believer...all fuzzed up and horrid) so Huff overdubbed solos later. It was mentioned in the rock press at the time (Kerrang, I think) I saw Giant live 3 times on their UK tours back in the day and the guitar was all live!!!
