I just had an argument with a co-worker, about which bands use backing tapes in concert & which ones are totally live! So, to set the record straight, I figured I would check with the experts here.

This is how I've come to know it. I am wrong or right?

Van Halen (used tapes in 07; live Wolfie/Eddie vocals in 2012)

And where do Def Leppard fall? They say they're all live. They sound live to me. But many swear that they use tapes.
