My thoughts are this. I think Gene was very hardcore in getting the band to be huge. Paul felt the same way so they did anything to get fans in the seats and fans to buy product. Ace and peter also felt that way but took the party to serious. Its one thing to party and its another not being able to function 100% for fans spending there money on you. When Peter came back I think it was clear he was somewhat sober while Ace was not. It should have been an even split on the money. Look at Bill Ward...same type of thing. Plus Doc Mcghee has a rep. I think Gene and Paul could have less dicky if Peter was honestly sober. If he was and they were like that then they are dicks.
