Peter Criss question/comment

I just finished Peters book. Before that I read the book by Ace. As a life long KISS fan I am sad I read it. There are 4 sides to the story but really Gene and Paul seem like real dicks. On the other hand as a person who doesn't have a drug/drink problem I know how hard it is to work with people that are messed up. Peter seemed to make mistake after mistake of who he had represent him. But one thing he goes right over with no detail is his 25%. He mentions he got 25% after he left. Was getting money. Then he hooked up with a mob guy to make sure he was getting his fair share. KISS lawyers froze the money for the "investigation". Then Peter was in South Oaks and one of the guys he thought was his friend had him sign papers. He never tells what they were and all of a sudden he lost is 25%? So thats when he signed his 25% away? If that is when I don't know why he doesn't get a REAL lawyer. You had a guy sign his rights away in a mental hospital? He would win big time...if thats the story. Can anyone clear it up
