...and some of us live there, as it happens.

We may be a small country on the other side of the big pond, but what happened would be devastating in a country of ANY size in peace time. I wouldn't wish it on anyone.

The aftermath of July 22nd is still very much an active debate in various guises in the news here and will continue to be so for many years, I imagine.

As for the events in Menznau outside of Lucerne, Switzerland, it seems that there are three dead and five severly injured, all employees of a wood industry business comprising around 100 people. A tragedy for the local community, I'm sure.
