And the crap about "learning to love compression." Sure, the 1987 album sounded pretty good, but over-compression pretty much wrecked the sound on all the new new Whitesnake albums as well as their deluxe edition remasters. Saying all that compression is a good thing is like saying that he can still hit the high note during "Crying In the Rain."
