I was never a big Journey fan, and the Hour and quarter they were on, they did not float my boat. Did notice Jonathan Cain take out his mobile phone at one point. Deep Purple on the other hand were great. Good old fashion intro, straight in to Space Truckin. The Mule with drum solo. Ian Paice can still beat the crap out of his kit despite is age. Roger looked like he was having fun. My only gripe is that the crowd was awash with neon. When will people realise that taking photos with an iPhone and being 100 meters away, the photos are going to look like shit.
