Most of those bands were kind of before my time so if all that was was all we had until that time, and I knew what else we had to come, frankly I'd be pretty miffed.

A definition of classic rock is hard to define. Classic hits? Classically influenced? Different people may define it in different ways but to me, I just like good music plyed loud! Something well played, well sung and with a great melody.
