Like them both, Pearl Jam is a bigger band, M&S are still to prove themselves in the test of time.
Ten just exceeded 10 million in US, lasting for 2 decades.
M&S play nothing new, it is nearly impossible to bring something completely new to music (Captain is right), unless you are the Swans or other experimental artists.
