It all depends on where you live. I would say at this point that Pearl Jam has had a far bigger impact in the US than Mumford & sons.
And to be honest, as much as I am not a fan of Pearl Jam, Mumford & Sons seem like the a modern vesion of the Deliverance musicians.
*Edited to add* My wife is a big fan of them, but when she had their latest CD playing last weekend while we were trying to get things done around the house, I found myself annoyed/perturbed. It is just not pleasant to listen to in any way. I would feel more at ease listening to Alice In Chains.
