What are people's thoughts? I usually despise these re-recordings of classic songs, but these sound like big improvements over the originals to me. Perhaps it's just that as a casual fan (at best) of Stryper, I never formed any kind of attachment to the originals, but the production, sound, and attitude all sound vastly improved on this recording. Some of the saccharine sweetness is mercifully gone.

One exception is "To Hell With the Devil" which actually sounds weaker and less inspired to me.
