Clint is bad ass, but not in a testosterone way. He's just cool as fuck. Are you talking about Tom Hardy in Bronson? That was rather terrifying too.
With regards Matt Damon, he's obviously no bad ass in person. But in the Bourne films he's an azz kicker of the highest calibre. Which, given his history up until that point, was a pleasant surprise.
